Frequently Asked Questions
Will teeth whitening work for me?
Results from whitening vary from person to person and on the type of stains their teeth may have at the time. Some teeth whiten faster than others. If you are a new customer with us, we will go over your forecasted journey and desired goals to reach your preferred shade of white.
How long does it take to whiten teeth?
Returning customer: 45-60 minutes
New customer: 60 minutes – 90 minutes
Couple: 90 minutes – 120 minutes
Does teeth whitening hurt?
Teeth whitening can cause mild sensitivity to the teeth and gums. Some customers experience little to no sensitivity, while other customers may need to limit the strength and time of the bleaching to avoid sensitivity.
You may find it is helpful to use a special toothpaste for sensitive teeth prior to and after the procedure. If you do experience sensitivity after treatment, an OTC pain reliever can usually help to reduce the symptoms.

- Once you are a total of 60 minutes after your appointment you are free to eat or drink whatever you want.
- However, to ensure the absolute best results, you will want to avoid eating any foods or drinks that can stain teeth for at least 48 hours. This would include coffee, tea, red wine, juices, berries, foods with artificial colors, etc. You should also avoid smoking as long as possible. 🙂
